I particular like thrillers and suspense fictions, carefully plotted by authors who have a great sense of meticulousness. If I'm lucky, the flow of the story never goes toward the direction I had guessed, making them extremely difficult to predict (unlike most suspense movies I watch). Sometimes, but very seldom, the greatest suspense books have endings that hits without me knowing it and I'd be scrambling back to the previous pages to find out how could I have not anticipated the twist that had showed so much signs earlier in the book!
Starting and running a small-scale business out of my hobby is probably the best thing in the world. And even though I may not know what customer value is, I wish to learn what value is, to you... MY PERSPECTIVE ON THE MARKET

Through careful analysis and thorough studies on the Malaysian readers market, I've found out why authors like Dan Brown, John Grisham and Sidney Sheldon are the general/average reader's choice.

The answer is simple: We like books which have the most simple style of writing yet a plot that is somewhat suspenseful, otherwise it would turn out to be a boring read. We do not like authors who love to include jargons, euphemisms and big words into their books, simply because it makes reading difficult, and it shouldn't be, because we are not reading to learn new things, nor are we interested in literature, not that much anyway, we just want to read for fun. We want to read as it kills time. Simply put it, we treat reading as a form of entertainment, not a tuition class or an english language course. And authors like Grisham, Brown and Sheldon write their books in simple english - suspenseful, full of insights and knowledge of the culture behind each story setting, yet easily comprehensible, a uniquely Malaysian preferrence.

I would therefore, try as best as I can, to search for other authors who adopt this style of writing. Which to us, is Perfection in its Simplicity...
